Rock & Roll Time of Death Edition
So what happened to Rock? We all know it's dead. Rap, hip-hop or whatever you want to call it is the dominant coastal music, while rock's pop sound migrated to country. When a young Taylor Swift decided she wanted to make it big, she went into country music.

The last true rock stars were Cheryl Crow and Kid Rock, the White Stripes were the last big rock band. By the mid-2000s Bon Jovi and Def Leppard were doing country crossover albums. Heck, Def Leppard did a crossover concert with Taylor Swift. We actually saw a country music cover of Photograph.

What happened? Reader(s) are invited to weigh in.
