We have spent our down time here at the beach working on Whatever Happened to Jake and Patricia Bloom. The book is 70,000 words.
We've given the 1994 chapter a read through and it looks good. We've just about finished the Iraq 2003 Chapter. Honestly, this could be a novel all its own. It won't be. We think we want to do a few more things to the college, 1996 ROTC chapter. All that remains to be written is the final 2008 chapter.
We've also had a few intellectual breakthroughs on The Austrian Painter. We think we'll have the rough done by the end of the month.
On Monday we'll get back to work on ANZACs. One way or another that bitch is getting finished. ANZACs will, repeat will, be out in the autumn. The Final Storm will follow soon after. During 2018 we'll work on a few other projects before wrapping up WW1990 in 2019.
A few ideas:
-A March Through Mexico: about the 1916 Poncho Villa campaign.
-Pershing's War: an alt hist about Pershing's November 1918 offensive into Germany.
-Palmerston's War: GB jumps into the Civil War, told entirely from the Limey point of view.
-Wrapping up the Israel Strikes universe.
-Another To Defend the Earth book.
Readers are invited to weigh in.
