Want a Riot, a Pali Riot, Want a Riot, a Riot of my Own

Yesterday in Jerusalem and the Palestinian authority we saw some rather pro-forma riots. This is old hat, frankly and we are not impressed. Meanwhile Hezbollah and Hamas are calling for a 3rd Intifada:

Security personnel were preparing for riots on Friday in Jerusalem and the West Bank, amid predictions that Palestinians and Israeli Arabs will escalate their protests against US President Donald Trump’s decision to recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.

A Palestinian Day of Rage (TM) to be followed by the Day of Hysteria, the Day of Regret and finally The Day of Mom is soooo Pissed.

Needless to say we don't take any of this seriously.

European leaders have their knickers in a twist. We've assembled a handy chart matching leaders wither their preferred negative adjective:

EU                   'serious concern'
UN                   'great anxiety'
May                  'unhelpful'
Macron             'regrettable'

There followed the inevitable calls for meetings and summits.

Speaking of pro-forma, the Arab world has issued its standard condemnations. However these governments have to deal with the problem of realty. We suspect Jordan is happy, this will keep the 'Palestinian Street' busy for a while. The military government of al-Sisi can use this to keep their seething masses occupied as well. As far as the house of Saud is concerned, don't kid yourself, reader(s), they couldn't care less.

Certainly not with their budding and not so secret anti-Iran alliance with, you know, Israel.

So have fun with this, Palestinians. It'll be a riot.

Throws like a girl. Is that your sister's hijab?
