Battle Extraordinaire

Yes, we're bringing that back too.

Since MM mentioned it in our tally of great war films, here's our post on Paths of Glory from 2018.

Does anyone know of any other great WWI films? We can only think of a few.

Blue Max is not the answer.

We're talking about grueling trench warfare, people.

Someone really ought to make a film about Patton's 1st Tank Brigade.

  1. The Lost Battalion is a really good WW1 movie.

  2. Passchendale. Great battle scenes and the home front shows the pressure men were under to enlist in 1917 Canada.

Or for the Australian's....Beneath Hill 60. All about tunneling companies setting up huge caches of explosives under enemy trenches.
