World War 1990: Other Efforts

The Battle of the Three Seas is affording us an excellent opportunity to reference a few parts of the war that have gone unmentioned.

Did you know NATO was conducting Operation Mare Norstrum, a combined French, Italian, and Spanish anti-sub operation in the Med? Why the Spanish carrier battlegroup has two confirmed sinkings and two probable sinkings.

Also, the Soviets really nailed the Turkish air force and navy in the opening days of the war. You'll meet the man who did it, Admiral Sergei Tevelev, who holds a little secret of his own.

Peripherally, readers will learn about French II Corps great battle (and victory!) around Krakow.

[Is he gay? I bet he's gay-Ed]

No, something even worse. Wait till his lovely daughter gets the bad news.

We think we can wrap this all up by the end of the month.
