We are baffled.

No, check that. We are flustered.

We have written, re-written, re-written the re-writes, re-instated the first re-writes and then re-written them and finally nixed all but the second re-writes and gone with the original writing.

Yet here we are on a frigid Sunday, bitching about this goddamn section.

At this point we're wondering if we should just delete the entire Battle of the Barents Sea and start over.
