Kushner's Peace

The rumored Trump Middle East peace plan will be unveiled after Ramadan this June.

The Times of Israel has a tantalizing article on the Trump Administration's approach:
In a clear indication that the Trump administration’s peace plan will depart from the two-state solution as a framework for a permanent Israeli-Palestinian accord, senior White House adviser Jared Kushner said on Tuesday peace efforts by previous administrations had “failed” and that the new proposal would be different.
The previous approach of negotiating over every town, village and square inch of Jerusalem failed.

Douglas Feith speculated that the plan's architect, Jared Kushner, was 'expanding the problem', that is bringing the Arab states into negotiations.

The ToI peace mentions the 2002 Arab peace proposal wherein Israel would withdraw to the 1967 (Auschwitz) borders in return for normal diplomatic relations.

That couldn't happen in 2002 and there's no reason for the Israelis to consider it now.

We're wondering if Trump and Kushner are using the 'peace process' to bring about a result unrelated to Israel and Palestine.
