Tragedy on the Seine

This morning Paris, France, the West and Civilization is without Notre Dame Cathedral.

Some did what they could in prayer...

The cathedral's art and relics were saved. As of this morning the damage does not seem to be as catastrophic as first feared. The roof is gone but the structure has survived.

Having lived through the destruction of a New York landmark resulting in the death of 3000 let us thank god that no one was hurt.
