Dam Star Busted

So last night we watched The Dam Busters, which we hadn't seen since we were a kid.

We liked the film, all the more so because of this:

That's not plagiarism. It's not even stealing. It's inspiration. It's tribute.

We do it, pretty blatantly so. I bet some of you can name the scenes we've recreated in our novels and invite you to do so now.

As Lemmy Kilmeister said, it's all derivative.

Anyway, we enjoyed* the dam attack sequences, lots of drama and tension brought on by technical mastery of the subject. Well done.

*Let's not mention the dog.
