Impeach and Will will move

We had about six inches of snow yesterday, more than enough for the snowblower. The snow was heavy but cleared off easy after the sun came out. Our drive and walkway are 100% clean. We blew that snow alright. Some of the neighbor's snow too.

Snow blowing was a solid workout. We'll do some cardio at the gym this afternoon.

Of course Republican Mazi Pilip lost the special House election. So excuse us if we don't drop our political doomerism. This election was a microcosm of everything wrong with the GOP. Mazi Pilip was a bad candidate chosen by the leadership but rejected by the base. The party had no turnout game and no ballot operation.

The House GOP impeached Anthony Mayorkas though. We were stunned. It moved, a little. Impeaching Mayorkas is a good first step. Now impeach Joe.

Speaker Mike Johnson says the house won't vote on the Senate Ukraine bill. We'll see. Johnson actually outranks Mitch McConnell who sees Ukraine funding as his legacy, for some reason. Sorry, Mitch. Unless you're a historian, no one cares who the senate minority leader was. And by the way, House speaker out ranks senate minority leader. Exit question (for younger reader) only): Who were the senate majority and minority leaders in 1994?* 2004?

The Narrative says that the Israeli attack on Hamas occupied Rafah is going to be a humanitarian disaster. Rafah is the next Stalingrad, they say. The narrative is always a lie. Ceasefire negotiations continue, and progress of a sorts is reported. Doesn't anyone else see how the Israeli's play this game? Netanyahu will drag out negotiations till the IDF is ready to go into Rafah. When negotiations fail Bibi will shake his head not in anger but sorrow and say, 'We tried.' Then the liberation of Rafah begins.**

The Ukrainians continue to inflict embarrassing loses on the Russians: The NY Post reports: 'Ukraine’s military said Wednesday it sank a Russian landing ship in the Black Sea using naval drones...The Caesar Kunikov amphibious ship sank near Alupka, a city on the southern edge of the Crimean Peninsula that Moscow annexed in 2014, Ukraine’s General Staff said.' Kinda cool, no?

It's like the Ukes have read a proof of World War 1990: Norway. We really need to work in that fast attack craft plot. For the first time yesterday we were kind of, sort of happy with the epilogue. And we saw a crack into which we could put a scene to make the epilogue even better. These things come together slowly, then all at once.

*Oh look, negotiations seem to be done for the week. Soon, Rafah.

**Took us a minute too.
