Keep Punching at Pancho

Good afternoon, Stroock's Books landsraad. No, we haven't seen Dune Part II.

We woke up with a throbbing right toe. If one must needs ask, then one necessarily has gout. We've nuked it and expect to hit the gym this afternoon. The gout is stress related, one hundred percent as we over worry about events we cannot influence.

Springlike temperatures prevail today and we are sorely tempted to crack open a bottle and indulge and Arturo Fuente or two. Naaaa.

In local news, The Bridgewater Breeze reports: 'RARITAN, NJ - A Flemington man was arrested on DWI charges after police responded to an accident at the Somerville Traffic Circle April 8 at 9:06 p.m., according to police.' We drove past this accident no later than 9:20 PM. We saw the tractor trailer and saw the Mazda. On Tuesdays we go through the circle four times on dance-taxi duty. Last night we went with god.'

We had a most excellent day in front of the computer on Tuesday. First, we read through the Pancho Villa story. We're quite pleased with the cuts we've made. The narrative flows from beginning to end, as the character of Captain John Moser, US Cavalry slowly comes out. We're still not sure how the story ends...Aaaaha! Got it!

We also read through the Titan II story in War Night and Other Stories of The Great Nuclear War of 1975. We were less pleasantly surprised. In fact we unpleasantly surprised as we found some gaps in the story. Dang it, we believed this story was done, but now think it needs a good week of editing. We shall press on.
