Will's Good Idea for the Week of 7/14/24

Our phone dinged. We ignored it as we finished making our egg and cheese on toast. Our phone dinged again. We plated our egg and cheese and sat on the couch. Our phone rang. We answered. 'Dad!' Oldest Daughter said. 'Turn on the news.' Oh.....All Democrats everywhere are responsible for this. Trump looked based AF. Trump landed at Newark Liberty last night and went to Bedminster. We are ten minutes away from the man.  The egg and cheese was delicious, by the way. 

We've no insights nor hot takes.

Oh, and Happy Bastille Day. Vive le France!

Let's move on to Will's Good Idea for the Week of 7/14/24.

One of the IRA books we ordered arrived in the mail. It's decently sized and looks like it will read well. Assuming reading goes well, today we'll order the other two books in the series, one titled The British, one titled The Loyalists. 

We think the foreign leader story in War Night might be the Irish Taoiseach (oh, my god, spelled that right on the first try). We don't have a better idea. 

Ambush at Lingayen Gulf will be finished today. Of course there's no guarantee the story will be accepted. If not, why not write a short story compellation of WWII alternate history in 2025? And if that does well, a comp of WWI alternat history short stories, and a comp of Cold War alternate history short stories. It's a thought, dare we say, a good idea.
