Is Trump Lucky?

After the Kate Steinle verdict it's hard to avoid that conclusion.

Hot Air has the details:
NBC Bay Area has posted some video from outside the courthouse. Zarate’s defense attorneys, Matt Gonzalez and Francisco Ugarte were both quick to connect the verdict to President Trump. Gonzalez seems to be anticipating a Trump tweet. Toward the end of this clip he says, “There are a number of people who have commented on this case in the last couple years—the Attorney General of the United States, the President and Vice President of the United States—let me just remind them that they are themselves under investigation by a special prosecutor in Washington, DC.” He added, “They may themselves soon avail themselves of the presumption of innocence and beyond a reasonable doubt standard. And so I would ask them to reflect on that before they comment or disparage the results of this case.”
Obnoxious leftists are the gift that keeps on giving.

We watched the Trayvon Martin verdict post-presser by George Zimmerman's attorneys. All they did was talk about the tragedy of the situation and tragedy of Martin's death.

Bill Bilicheck (PBUH) once said that when you lose say little, when you win say even less. Sage, sage advice.

Rather than just talk about the sanctity of the jury system and the rights of the accused these two twerps decided to spike the ball in Trump's face.

They went full SJW. Never go full SJW.

Now Trump has a an an easily understood and powerful rally cry, 'Justice for Katie'. Think anyone wants to shut down the government over Amnesty after that? How 'bout opposing a wall?

Yeah, we didn't think so.

Of course, if Trump hadn't weaponized the Kate Steinle case he would not now have it as a bludgeon. We predict by the end of today he will Tweet something about 'Kate's wall'.

Legendary Dodgers GM once said that luck is the residue of design.

Trump's not lucky, he's just good.

Everything is going according to plan
