Back in the late 80's one could argue the Bon Jovi was kind of, sort of metal. Jake Bloom does so in A Line through the Desert. We wrote that scene in 2003. We would not make such an argument today.
Still, we like Bon Jovi, and not just becuase we live in New Jersey. Forget what you hear about Springsteen, it's Jon Bon Jovi that has the state's heart. After all he named an album after the state.
We can think of half a dozen Bon Jovi songs we like, Dead or Alive, Bad Medicine, Shot through the Heart, Lay Your Hands on me, Raise your Hands, the rest is either chick music...
[Well, duh-Ed]
