Big news in the Florida primary last night.
We'll let our friend Bill Katz explain:
Major upset in Florida. Andrew Gillum, leftist, Sanders-backed, Soros-financed mayor of Tallahassee, has won the Dem nomination for governor. An African-American, Gillum rode a wave of minority votes to his victory. He openly represents the left wing of the Democratic party, defeating establishment candidate Gwen Graham, the daughter of former U.S. Senator Bob Graham. Gillum, who will have some 'splainin to do about a corruption investigation, will face Republican nominee Ron DeSantis. Florida's current governor, Rick Scott, is a conservative Republican. Here's the actually vote totals. That's a victory for organization and political passion.
Bob Graham was an old-fashioned moderate Democrat and in his time quite popular in Florida. Breitbart reports that Gillum was calling for Trump's impeachment last year. Democrats are trying to tamp down the impeachment talk, but that is where the rank, file, heart, soul of the party lies.
Oh, and 120,000 more GOP's voted in the primary than Dems.
There will be no Blue Wave.
