Election 2018: Report from New Jersey

We have a senate race here in the Garden State, with underage hooker lover Democrat Bob Menendez in a serious fight with self-funding GOP Big-Pharma* exec Bob Hugin.

Hotair tells us that Hugin is close. He's run a great campaign, emphasizing his business credentials and his service in the Marines, 'Send a Marine to Washington!' he says. Yes New Jersey is Blue but we elect Republicans (we just had two terms of Chris Christie after all, he beat incumbent John Corzine).

Hugin has been running the most ferocious attack ads we've ever seen from a Republican. Behold:
Just brutal.

Reporting from the ground we can say there's not a lot of Menendez signs around here while the Hugin signs are sprouting up here and there. This is important. We live in NJ-7 which is a contested race, and we see plenty of signs for Democrat Tom Malinowski. We'll get into that in another post.

We can't say that Hugin will win.  But there is no reason to vote for Bob Menendez. None. We think it will be a long election night. It's possible.

*Tons of pharmaceutical companies are based here so it's not really a drawback to work for Big-Pharma.
