Gaza Peace, but not in our Time.

The incomparable Zev Chaffets writes:
Hamas is too weak to be anything but a military annoyance. And Netanyahu is focused on the threat posed by Iran and its proxies in Lebanon and Syria. He doesn’t want the IDF tied down in Gaza, even for a brief period. He needs the military budgets and personnel for the northern war.
As we have been saying, Israel has nothing to gain from a fourth Gaza War. The Israelis have used Gaza to test and show off Iron Dome and fortify the southern border. The Israelis even developed a kind of tunnel detecting technology which they're being decidedly coy about.

The Jew is, after all, clever.

Gaza can, should and must languish. The real threat lies to the north.

As we've asked before, what would victory look like, anyway?
