!@#$.
There it is.
Dutch I Corp fighting like mad along the R-1.
The Prime Minister touring the country giving war speeches.
A Soviet airborne attack on Groningen to lay the groundwork for invasion; the reverse Market Garden.
The old man fortifying his farm against invasion and fighting off Soviet Spetznaz.
Right now it feels like we can crank out a couple thousand words a day. That will change, but right now we can do it.
There's really only one problem. That is, we have Dutch I Corps acting as NorthAG's theatre reserve when they had their own sector up front. We may not care. Plot is always more important than fact.
We'll see.
Reader(s) are invited to throw in a couple of ideas for NL in the comments.
Musical representation:
How about a Danish corps replacing the the Dutch in line while they go into reserve to rest and reorganize that would put them in place to resist the airborne attack
ReplyDeleteThat is not a bad idea. You just need a line or two to justify it and we can even work it in where the Danish PM, after Danish I Corps is destroyed is berating the Dutch PM.
