So begins the long Yankee winter slog.
This is why February is the shortest month of the year.
By March there is some hope. You know April is just around the corner. Even so a few years ago we got slammed by two or three March blizzards. We took a late snow storm last April.
In 2001 our own New Jersey Nets* acquired Jason Kidd, a SoCal guy who played for the Phoenix Suns. In a late January radio interview he pleaded, 'Please tell me the sun is going to come out.'
Not till May, Jason, not really.**
*No laughing please.
**April is wet and rainy.
Your April in Houston's Jan->March. Substitute your snow and temperature for 50-70 and grey constant rain, and you have Houston.
