Northam Lives

So last week saw a ridiculous racial controversy over a 35 year old yearbook picture, begun becuase Ralph Northam kills babies, the end result of which will be the political destruction of black Lt. Governor Justin Fairfax becuase it turns out he's a sexual predator.

Just to make things even more interesting, from a racial standpoint, Lt. Governor Fairfax has roots in Virginia (see what I did there?) going back hundreds of years as he is the descendent of slaves held by Lord Fairfax - as in the town and county of Fairfax, Virginia.

We don't think Democrats have had a week this bad since Sherman took Atlanta.

Yes, reader(s) we are enjoying the collision of Democrat Party racial politics and #metoo.

As the Northam controversy played out commenters shared stories there own recollections from the time, and it seems blackface was not taboo in 1984. We're pretty sure there's a picture in one of our high school yearbooks of a student in blackface. Condemning someone for not comporting to current standards 35 years ago is the worst kind of history. Students of ours once expressed shock that Margaret Thatcher was, in their words, 'anit-gay', to which we responded, 'It was 1982, everyone was anti-gay.'

Northam's not going anywhere, he says. We're so glad someone has finally stood up to the race hustler mob.

So in Democrat Party controlled Virginia, the white man will persevere but the black man will fall. When the metaphorical casket of Justin Fairfax's metaphorical career lies in metaphorical state, it will be draped in a real Confederate flag.

Same ol' Democrats.
