Wither the Blue and Whites

Benjamin Netanyahu is a skilled and ruthless politician, the Francis Urquhart of Israel. 

You better bring your A-game against him.

The Blue and Whites did not bring their A-game.

For the first time Netanyahu and Likud lead in the polls:

The Direct Polls survey taken for public broadcaster KAN found if the April 9 election took place now, Likud would win 31 seats, and Blue and White 30. Netanyahu’s right-center bloc had a 63-57 majority over Gantz’s center-left, which would enable Netanyahu to form another right-wing coalition.

We're not even sure the Blue and Whites even have an A-game.

Gantz is a pretty underwhelming candidate while the country is concerned with Iran and economic issues. Which means this just doesn't seem like the right time for the Blue and White's secularist campaign. 

Also the Iranians hacked Gantz's phone. That just makes him look weak. Gee, wonder who leaked that little tidbit?

As we suspected the Blue and Whites peaked the week of their announcement and had nowhere to go but down.
