Rattled

Plenty of sabre rattling in the Persian Gulf. 

The Israelis passed on intel to the US about pending Iranian attacks on 'American interests', the Trump Admin dispatches a carrier battlegroup and now we learn B-52s to the region.

Iran threatens, the US counter threatens.

Question, what does Iran feel it gains by attacking American targets?

Supposition: Iranian proxies blowup a barracks, say, or a sink a tanker. 

We respond with a full on aerial assault on a key nuclear facility.

Right?

Or did the Israelis fabricate the intel so we'd do their dirty work for them?

After all, the Jew is clever.
