6-19-19 in New Jersey

Yeah we get sharks down the shore, as we say here in New Jersey:
A real-life JAWS moment was all caught on camera as a group of surprised fishermen sees a great white shark making itself known off 30 miles offshore at the Manasquan Inlet.

The friends were on the boat Monday named Big Nuts Required II.

According to Jeff Crilly, the owner of the boat, the shark was about 16-feet long.

The group were shark fishing using the chum bag, and in the video, the shark can be seen snatching the bag right off the side of the boat.
New Jersey was the scene of the Great White Shark attacks of 1916. One of the bastards swam up the Tom's River and ate a ten-year-old. Another attacked swimmers off LBI at the famous Ingleside Hotel. For three decades the Fami d' Stroock stayed in a condo across the street.

We enjoyed telling the Stroocklettes about the attack.

A few years ago we watched a maniac team of marine biologists catch a shark, drag it ashore and tag it.
