7-9-19 in New Jersey

The sheriff departments of Monmouth County and Cape May County are not cooperating with Immigration and Customs Enforcement and  Attorney General Gurbir Grewal is not pleased:
In a pair of sternly worded letters to elected sheriffs in Monmouth and Cape May counties, top officials in state Attorney General Gurbir Grewal’s office say the county sheriffs violated a directive Grewal issued earlier this year seeking to limit cooperation between New Jersey cops and Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
We should note the article goes on to misspell 'Illegal Immigrant' several times.

Here in New Jersey a legal resident needs three documents just to drive a car.

It's rich that the AG is mad at the sheriffs for ignoring his directives when he himself is ordering sheriff's department to ignore immigration law.

We assume Grewal went to law school and understands the Supremacy Clause.
