Israeli Kaboom

Last night the Israelis launched a massive attack on an Iranian drone base in Arqaba, Syria (among other places), thwarting a plot to send explosive armed drones into Israel - or so the Israelis say.

At the same time drones fell out of the sky over Hezbollah PR headquarters in Beirut.

This comes after Israeli airstrikes against Shite militia bases in Iraq earlier in the week.

The Times of Israeli has a fascinating report on the incidents. According to the ToI, Jerusalem is working with the Saudis to prevent an Iranian takeover of Iraq.
