One of this blog's confederate readers suggested that the 2nd MEF land in Lebanon and link up with Israeli armor.
Not a bad idea, but this is going to be a purely American operation.
One of the subplots will be that the Israelis are standing by, locked and loaded, an angry lion on a tether just itching to lash out. Their proposed attack will have a really cool biblical sounding name of course, 11th Plague, Locust...
As such the Israeli corps of six regular army and four reserve brigades will be standing by. One division to drive up the coast, one through the center and the other to advance into the Beqaa Valley.
Hmmmmm....further subplot, the Israelis take this opportunity to topple Hamas.
Further-further subplot, Israeli Iron Dome command shooting down rockets.
