The 80's were so cool, Orson Welles hocked our toys:

We had one of these.

Note, this commercial is from 1981 but the standard 80's era synth is in the background. One can hear it in a 1981 movie like Escape from New York as well. 1981 has one foot in the 70's, nevertheless.

You don't suppose Welles read it cold, do you?:
