Bad Advice

On Twitter Mike Cernovich (PBUH) asks his fans about the worst advice they've ever gotten.

Us, personally, that has to be Write What You Know.

That's how you end up with young people writing about what it's like about being young people.

Sure, we could do a novel about a middle aged guy, but would it really be that interesting? Of course we wrote Blooms about a middle aged couple, but we made it interesting, and not by writing what we know.
