On Looking Back at One's Work

The ways and means by which we write World War 1990 novels has evolved mightily since the release of Operation Arctic Storm in 2015.

To be honest we've come to think of Arctic Storm as the weakest of the series.

We like to compare the World War 1990 books to Star Trek the Next Generation. The series got better as it went on. Season four (1990-91) is the best sci fi season in the history of television. But season one is terrible, just awful.

We once saw Orson Welles say he hates seeing his movies. We know exactly what he means. We hate looking at our books for we'll find mistakes, things we would write differently, typos. Heck in Arctic Storm we weren't as thorough as we could have been with military details. We certainly weren't as thorough as we are now. Which won't prevent the grognards from picking at the sub and carrier scenes in Three Seas.

So yesterday as the gals were finalizing the place settings for the Bot Mitzvah and later at teh barbershop we went over Arctic Storm

[Barbershop? You were at Great Clips and a homosexual cut your hair-Ed]

Sorry, the doe-eyed Russian girl wasn't there.

Anyway, after reading Arctic Storm, we say it holds up OK.
