What Will Watched

Drive: Ryan Gosling and his long, forlorn gaze. An interesting LA movie about a stunt driver who moonlights as a getaway driver. Gosling's character, who is never named, is a good guy who looks in on the single mom and her kid next door but has a past of unspeakable violence. He is more than able to handle the thugs dueling mobsters send his way. As one of those dueling mobsters Albert Brooks is brilliant. Disappointingly, Gosling's violent past is never explained.  Retro-80's soundtrack. 3/4.
