What Will's Watching

End of the F***king World: A pair of middle class teens, James and Alyssa, bored, depressed and alienated. James is numb to life and once put his hand in a deep fryer just to feel something. He thinks he's a psychopath and looks forward to the day when he can find out. Alyssa hates everything about high school and is drawn to James' dark eccentricity. Both are ironic and detached, James is passive. Alyssa is bossy. The two run away and then things turn into a Steve Miller Band song. Interesting. 3/4.
