Protests rage across Iran as the regime loses control of the economy. Anti-Iranian protests rage across Iraq as well.
In both cases the governments have killed hundreds.
In Iran the people are sick of the ayatollahs. What's the point of spending billions on Hamas and Hezbollah and waging a war in Yemen and maintaining a nuclear program that puts you in Israeli and American cross hairs when average Iranians can't find work and inflation tops 50%?
In Iraq the people are sick of...the ayatollahs. If Baghdad has a pro-Iranian government that's not afraid to shoot its own people (gee, wonder who's pulling the strings there) was the Iraq Campaign therefore a failure?
Anyway let's suppose the ayatollahs are overthrown. If that happens then the entire Middle East...
[Oh, there goes the Yank again, with his vision of Democracy sprouting like a sunflower across the Islamic world...-Ed]
I'm just saying they probably wouldn't support Hezbollah, and the Israelis could...
[Oh stop-Ed.]
The Middle East would be better, no?
[You don't know that-Ed]
Fine. Fine! Exit question: is the Middle East better off because we liberated Iraq?
[Liberated...you Yanks - Ed]
No it's not but America is if we had not shifted the focus over to Iraq there would of been more attempts of 9/11 style attacks on the USA
