Treat each chapter like it's its own short story.
We've always been a big believer in writing it all down and fixing it later but we think this has become counter-productive. In the long run it's just creating more work. For the next novel just write the chapter, fix the chapter, edit the chapter, then move on to the next chapter.
This is how we cranked out The Blue and The Red, Pershing's War, Gluklitch One-Nine, etc.
Reminder, we'll be putting out a short story collection this year and those titles will all be in it, also Tie Dye Warrior, Riders of the Centauri Range, and The Devil and Heavy Metal.
