We are going through the Klazienaveen Poleitei chapter which is....ok...Yeah we're uptalking that. We think there are too many words.
Cops wake up. Cops on beat. Cops encounter things on beat, citizens, kids, downed Soviet pilots, more convoys. Cops called away to border to quell riot. Cops see paras and choppers heading over the Netherlands. Cops ride back to town. Cops assess situation. Cops take action. Cops fight for town.
It seems...uptalked-ok...But slow. Maybe that's the point.
Our Dutch guy thinks the notion of the Poletei retaking Klazienaveen from Soviet paras is far-fetched. Maybe. But fun. Here in Bridgewater, our fine police department is more than capable of handling a small invasion. Of course many police departments have their own armored vehicles. And even in New Jersey, there'd be hundreds of armed citizens ready to join them.
