Will Nukes America

This morning we finally realized that we're writing a horror story. And belive you me, err us, there's plenty of horror in this story. One can imagine. We've tried to be creative.

But there's also a ton of fascinating stuff, so we say. What happens when the dozens of nations that keep their gold in the New York Federal Reserve Building in Manhattan want their bullion back? The vault is actually 80 feet underground so it would have survived an airburst. 

And gee, how do you think the United States government is going to finance overseas purchases? Again, go look up Fort Knox. You'd need a direct hit to actually take it out. 

The Feds will have to re-establish credit, overseas purchases with gold are the only way to do it. Now imagine the cabinet fighting over what to buy. We say stuff worth its weight, so to speak. Let's start with machine tools.
