Researching The Great Nuclear War of 1975, we're putting in a book order that includes a history of the Alaskan pipeline and the Prudhoe Bay oilfields. The Battle of Prudhoe Bay will be a stand alone chapter. This isn't about commies, but trying to restore the flow of oil. The pipeline wasn't completed till 1977 in real life.
We suppose we need a bio of Nelson Rockefeller. We don't know that he's all that interesting, but he's a major character and we need to get to know the man a bit.
Also, we find ourselves defending things like Medicare and Social Security of late. Back when we got into GOP politics in the mid-90's we were a disciple of Newt and the name Rockefeller was uttered as a curse. But we have to admit, we're wondering if we haven't become a Rockefeller Republican.
