What if we're thinking about this space thingy all wrong?

Anyone else remember 2543? No we haven't forgotten about it, we're just swamped.

2543 is supposed to be a speculative trilogy about the future. What if we still did that but with the space battle thingy parameters? We never did know who was attacking the solar system in 2543. Could it be Alpha Centauri?
