A Star Wars version of Star Trek.
This time we follow the crew of the Star Destroyer Lance patrolling the frontier, far, far away from the action.
We'll use the same formula as TNG: captain, XO, tactical, engineering, etc. Lance is an older MK I, something of a rattletrap, with a crew of misfits and rejects. The captain is a combat fatigued skipper who really hates the Jedi, the XO, young and ambitious and eager to be transferred to where the action is. The chief engineer is a holdover from the Old Republic Days and spins battle yarns.
Star Destroyer Lance is on a long patrol, nobody knows much about the rebellion or even cares. Lance and her crew are there to show the flag and keep the peace.
Damn this is a good idea. To whom do I propose it?
