Civil War Within War

While the left is fighting normal Americans, the left is also fighting itself. Over at the NYT's the wokesters are fighting the liberal old guard over the publication of Senator Tom Catton's Op-Ed. The NFL has resumed it's race-groveling. And in Minneapolis, Mayor Jacob Frey has been  publicly humiliated. Legal Insurrection has the story:

Frey, who just signed an order prohibiting police use of chokeholds, attended a rally by a group calling for defunding the police department. Frey gave a speech to the group supporting the general goals of the Black Lives Matter movement and protests over the death of Floyd. But then the organizers put him on the spot and demanded a Yes or No answer on full defunding. Frey tried to evade the question, but finally said he was not in favor of eliminating the police. So he got kicked out of the rally and was forced to do a ‘walk of shame’ by the protesters (the Question comes at 0.55)

If we wrote a scene like that reader(s) wouldn't accept it. I'd come off as trite, smug and pat. 'Come on, Will. Things like that don't happen in real life.'

Yes they do, in Minneapolis and all over the country. The left is at war with America and itself. The NYT's has already caved. The Wokesters will defeat the liberal old guard, quite easily. What happens when they come for the rest of us?
