Will Nukes Alaska

Looking at The Great Nuclear War of 1975's Alaska chapter, we're pretty happy with what we see. Here's a scene list:

-Bob Perkins returns to Casper from Alaska and discusses the situation up there with James Cannon (two important Rockefeller advisors)
-Military establishing defensive perimeter on islands in Barents Sea
-President takes aerial tour of Pipeline and highway with Ed Moulin and Mark Patton (the two men that ran the project)
-Truck convoy up the Highway
-Supertanker and icebreaker in Northwest passage (they actually tried this). They also thought of giant nuclear powered tanker subs. Someone else wanted to use a nuke to carve out a harbor. Now there's an idea.
-US Ambassador meets Japanese PM to arrange construction of pipeline segments and payment in cash (Japan manufactured the segments)

As always we could use some ideas. But we're in good shape here. let's see what notes we left...

Female Line Worker (they had them)
Well Sinking scene
Foreign scene (not sure what we meant here)
Tanker scene

You people know where to put the ideas.

It took them two years to get the wells, pipeline and Valdez oil terminal up and running. On the one hand, the war is a huge setback. On the other the war makes for renewed urgency.

  2. They'd just get shot. But we do have some Eskimos making trouble.
