Saturday Updates

Even the polls show the race 'tightening'. C'mon, man. Do we really need to explain this again? We do? Ok.

Forget Trump's record. Forget his massive campaign apparatus. Joe Biden is a horrible candidate. He's a career politician who never had to run a tough race. Biden only got the nomination because the Dems were terrified of Bernie and forced the remaining candidates to drop out. Biden supporters? There are no Biden supporters anymore than there were Dole supporters in 1996. It's not a thing. Biden has no ideas. Zero. None. He's literally nothing. Nor does he have a campaign. And the most pathetic part, he thinks he's good at this.

As we've said before, historians will say the veep debate was the turning point.

Business.

Book sales remain remarkably strong. It's been a great year. Seven Stories acts like a backlist book, which is all we could have expected. Three Seas is closing in on 50 reviews, 4+ stars. Here's the latest review, we really nailed it: 'I read a lot of mil fiction, sci fi mil, intrigue, intel related fiction. William, your series expands...nope, not even close, 1990 Explodes what Tom Clancy sought in Red Storm Rising. This series eclipses all. As a former Sonarman, turned into a Navy Mustang, this fictional look at "what if"...is stunningly accurate. Love it!!' That means a lot coming from someone who does it for a living. Exit question, is Three Seas the best book in the World War 1990 series?

We're slogging through The Great Nuclear War of 1975. We've made it to the winter, about 40% of the way. The MS is coming along but something is missing. We don't know what it is. So we're going to start over and slog on through through the part we slogged through. This will be the first book out in 2021.

The great slog means we haven't been able to devote mental energy to 1862: Palmerston's War. Heh, half the reason to write the book is because it's so damn marketable. We can think of a half a dozen magazines in which to advertise. It's a great chance to snag some new readers that will like other works of ours.

We've ordered the final-final Nederland proof. December 1 people. At this point we're thinking World War 1990: The Final Storm will be out late next year. Readers deserve to know how this thing ends. We feel some major juju for The Weser. Do we just need to follow the buzz on this one?

Two scales say our weight has fallen below 240. That means we've lost more than 20 pounds this year. We have no idea how we did this. Ever skeptical we tried on some clothes. We're walking around in size 38s and can button 36s. We see our appendix scar in the mirror, and even our stupid sister says we look great.

Anyone whose read this blog for a while could probably tell, but after a sleepless night we decided to come clean. We'll probably be doing weekly posts on this.
