That being said, as noted before, after consultation with our Trudeau hating associate to the north, we believe North America is simply too big and too de-centralized for the Soviets to nuke into oblivion. Remember, we can nail some of their nukes in the ground, sink subs before or during their launch, and shoot down bombers.
Between the war, lingering effects, and the winter, we believe America's population will be reduced by 1/3rd to about 150 million.
While the major cities are gone, many midsized and small cities survive. Owensboro Kentucky, Evansville Indiana, Bakersfield California, Pittsfield Massachusetts, Chattanooga Tennessee, Bethlehem Pennsylvania, Fredericksburg Virginia and the like. These cities will face enormous challenges, especially refugees. But new arrivals will also enable these cities to grow. These are the future great cities of America.
