Saturday Updates

Are we optimistic about Trump's chances? Not really. For this blog to be optimistic we'd have to trust the courts. That is, we'd have to trust John Roberts. We bet he retires sometime during the Biden Administration. That said, this blog can't say, no, no way, ain't gonna happen.

And the Wuflu continues to ravage New Jersey. Monday will be interesting. Monday is usually a big spike day. Murphy still says he won't impose a total lockdown. Bridgewater went from 19 to 33 cases the other day, yikes, but then down to 8 cases on Friday. Yes, it's going around town. We expect schools to go all remote after Thanksgiving.

Business.

We read and reread the first 40,000 words of The Great Nuclear War of 1975 and feel great about the work we've done. Right now we're  shoring up the winter of 1976 chapter. There needs to be more of it. This is an important chapter, a low point. From there, things are going to get better.  During the spring of '76 the novel turns to practical problems of infrastructure, energy, and the election of 1976. Oh, there's also war with the Norks. We may be able to read through those chapters in December.

We read and reread the set up chapters of World War 1990: The Final Storm. These go country by country. To take Italy for example, readers will see the government bickering in Rome, the Italian 5th Field Army in Hungary*, and the Marino Militare in the Black Sea. Most chapters are only three or four scenes. We actually feel this isn't enough.

Next week we'll read and reread the Battle of the Roki Tunnel.

We worked on Saddam's War for a couple of nights. So far so good. Nothing major. We're taking it slow.

World War 1990: Nederland is slated to come out 15 December.

We think we've written our last column for Inforos.

Our social media forays are ineffective as usual.

*Yes we're setting up Esercito Italiano.
