World War 1990 and other Reading Projects

You people know how we love reading projects.

A bit of our research, ok all of our research for World War 1990: Saddam's War. We broke one of our rules today and did some work on the project this morning. We just weren't feeling The Great Nuclear War of 1975, soooo.

Speaking of, we've gone through the Prudhoe Bay/Alaskan pipeline chapter and came away wonting. So we're adding a concluding scene where the two guys* running the project are standing by a new oil terminal watching SS Manhattan coming in from the Northwest passage. Ideas for this chapter welcome.

As far as reading projects go, we're busy right now with the above. But we might just feel a spark, a spark to a fire this January. The French in Algeria and Vietnam? Maybe. That could lead to an interest in America's war in Vietnam. That could keep us busy through the spring.

*Frank Moolin and Ed Patton. Look 'em up. They earned it.
