The dishwasher finally broke down. As we're coming off a winning streak, fixing our sump-pump and snow-blower, we took a whack at the Maytag. Final analyses: it's dead, Jim. Mrs. Stroock is out right now buying a drying rack. the Stroocklettes have expressed concern. 'What do we do?' one asked. We laughed. Oh, how we laughed.
Good news on the education front. Grades have come in for the Stroocklettes and all three did great last quarter. We must be doing something right.
We're comfortable going back to the gym. Which is to say, Mrs. Stroock said it was okay. We got there three times this week. We did half an hour on the treadmill at 3, not 4. Those were our old benchmarks. We're not interested in speed right now, but time. This being New Jersey we have to wear a mask. Afterwards we were a bit sore but otherwise felt great.
On to the things.
We've gotten two articles up on Substack, both about the war in Cambodia. We'll put up a third on Monday. Right now they're gratis. We're thinking we'll put some articles behind a paywall some day. That day is not today. Ihmmmm....is there a military history article you want will to write? Post in comments.
We are not pleased with the progress of The Great Nuclear War of 1975 or the Great Salvation of 1976. The writing of 75's Falklands chapter is going slowly. We reviewed the Alaska pipeline chapter in '76 and feel it's inadequate. The chapter needs more stuff. We don't think the rough will be done by the end of the month. We've had a lot of other things going on lately, and our Moscow handler is asking us for more misinformation. As he has some serious kompromot on us, we comply. Commie bastard. Look for our latest piece on Monday.
Meanwhile, World War 1990: The Final Storm nags like a wife who wants that leak fixed.
Parler remains in digital hell. Gab thrives. Get on Gab and speak freely. We do. We've had a great couple of weeks there. We're doing 10-15 posts a day and getting dozens of interactions and a new follower here and there. We should note that book sales are up a bit correspondingly.
Oh no dishwasher broke so when does the new wife get in could you do more articles on the South Koreans in Vietnam or some about the battles between South Africa and Cuba
