Aaaaand it's a new week.
While this blog remains generally impressed with Operation Guardian of the Walls, Israelis are 'less satisfied'. It seems a lot of Israelis would be perfectly happy to level Gaza, especially those in the south, understandably. The Times of Israel tells us that Lapid is moving up a bit and Bennett is back in talks with the Change Coalition. The electorate remains deadlocked and a 5th (5th!) election is possible.
We are reminded this morning that Bibi said he'd topple Hamas when he ran in 2009. Oops. You got an endgame there? Because we don't. Hey, who's up for occupying an Arab city? It's not a bad idea, just a couple of problems we can foresee...
There's been a spate of anti-Jewish pogroms in Los Angeles and New York, which just seems unbelievable accept that it doesn't. Both have Gazan and West Bank Person populations and the left, as we chronicled in Inforos last week, hates the Jews. Remember, 'From the River to the Sea Palestine will be free' is leftist for 'Death to the Jews.'
Two chapters to go in 76. These deal with political issues. What's congress doing at the Greenbrier? The next inauguration, etc etc. This is the stuff that we find interesting. We had totally forgotten that we wrote a scene where the GOP meets in Casper and picks Rockefeller's VP, George Bush, acting governor of Texas.
Hmmmm...Monday Metal. We got nuthin'. We did find a new band and listened to the entire album at the gym the other day and don't remember a damn thing about it, including the name of the band and the album. That's not good.
