Credit where it's due. Joe proclaimed: “My party still supports Israel,” Biden said. “Let’s get something straight here,” he added. “Until the region says unequivocally they acknowledge the right of Israel to exist as an independent Jewish state, there will be no peace.” He's holding a finger in the dam. As we chronicled for Inforos yesterday, the Dem's future is AOC, Tlaib, Warnock, and Ilhan Omar.
Heh, here's our own congressman: 'In the early days of the pandemic, New Jersey Rep. Tom Malinowski scolded those looking to capitalize on the health crisis, saying it was “not the time for anybody to be profiting” from selling goods to combat the pandemic. The two-term Democrat did not heed his own admonition. Since early 2020, Malinowski has bought or sold as much as $1 million of stock in medical and tech companies that had a stake in the virus response, records show. The trades were just one slice of as much as $3.2 million in trades he did not properly disclose.' We feel less bad for pestering him about his support for Ilhan Omar.
An excellent week at the gym. We're running for an hour at 3.7 now, and doing 15 minute training runs at 4.2. Actually, yesterday it was 90 degrees here and we went to the gym wearing a heavy mask and damn near passed out. We had to get another. Mask mandate here in New Jersey ends next Friday. We put on an 80's training montage and powered through.
We had a good week of writing. We've got a pair of 76 chapters straightened out pretty good. We planned to move the Korean War chapter to the end of the MS, but now believe it's fine in the middle. We still have a few Matt scenes to do, and we need to write the Ulan Ude arc. We've set up the city, what's the arc?
A rough draft of The Great Salvation of 1976 will be finished by the end of next week. This morning it stands at 67,000 words. Right now '76 is looking good, but it is not as good as The Great Nuclear War of 1975. A fresh readthrough with all the changes we've made may change our mind about that.
Question, do we spend June going back through it? Doing so will get 76 roughly on par with 75. We can probably do that and get to work on the 'sneak in' summer novel.
Two choices there, either The Weser, which is so ready to go mentally it's unbelievable or another Israel novel. If we do write The Weser, bear in mind the next World War 1990 novel published will be The Final Storm. We're finishing that this autumn. The third Israel novel? Well, events of course. And as stated before there's no business reason not to write it. Unless one believes it's been too long since War of the Red Sea. In fact, both Israel novels are doing quite well.
Originally the plan was for Israel to get into a titanic war with Egypt. Since then we've gotten our armored action fix. In the intervening years we thought something with the Turks, as this was set up in War of the Red Sea. Maybe we're thinking about this wrong?
Tomorrow we'll return to Substack with a quick look at Operation Guardian of the Walls.
Iran is the big enemy in the series you could write about an Iran led collation of Iran Iraq and Syria and a Israeli Jordan and Saudi Arabia one trying to stop them
