Rumors of a Friday ceasefire abound.
We're bored reporting on Operation Guardian of the Walls. Rocket, Iron Dome, bombing, repeat. Hamas seems to be trying to provoke Israel into a ground assault. This blog maintains that's a bad idea. You wanna do Thunder Run in Gaza? You do? Oh...We admit that would look pretty cool. That's exactly what we did In Israel Strikes: War of the Red Sea. We think Hamas is ready for something like that.
Here, the IDF released a detailed map of Hamas' Metro tunnel system. Incredible on both ends. Much of that system is destroyed. Tell us again that Hamas didn't badly miscalculate. Arabs do have trouble understanding Western Democracies. Saddam never thought we'd go through with it, both times. Hezbollah didn't believe it's kidnapping op would result in a month long war.
Speaking of, we've wondered why Hezbollah has been quiet for fifteen years. Well, it's obviously been digging the mother of all tunnel systems, hasn't it? Hezbollah, Bibi.
