Updates for a Lonely Saturday

We got to the gym yesterday. Fifteen minutes each, treadmill, rower, stair master, rope pully, bike. For the first time since we got back from the lake house we feel ready to run for an hour. Not today, we need a rest.

A friend  asked our advice on getting the vax. Since they asked, we advised them to get vaccinated. We told our friend the same thing we've written. Either you'll get the vax or you'll get Covid. In the long run it's probably a wash. Vaccines good. Masks bad, also stupid. We made it a point to go to the grocery store without a mask yesterday.

Sales really took a dive this month, dropping around 25% overall from June. Still, we're waaaaay ahead of sales last year. Just wait till next year. Time to get to work.

World War 1990: The Weser stands at 42,000 words. We spent a lot of time this week cleaning up what was already there. We've also decided there will be an interlude at the beginning of each chapter. This will show units not committed, The French getting into position, the American woman left on base with her family, etc etc. At the end of July things are looking good for the rough to be done by the end of August.

[Unless the god of your choice force lightnings you, knobhead -Ed.]

Baring that, yes. Kek, Crom, and Jobu would never do that.

Yesterday we read the first chapter of The Great Nuclear War of 1975. It looks great. It's time for 75 to move along. We'll be reading all weekend. By the time we're done all remaining issues will be fixed. The end of the Falklands submarine adventure, for example. Then we'll read a printout, and give it to some neighbors who are geeked up to beta read.

We've stuck with our retarded Twitter account. Mostly we just use it to vent.
