Will's Good Idea for the Week of 7/11/21

Greetings from a rainy Stroock Northern Strategic Direction in Great Barrington Massachusetts. There will be no aquatic updates from us today. Actually, the boat, The Waterproof, named in obeisance after our grandmother's hometown of Waterproof, Louisiana, isn't even in the water, yet

Which is probably for the best. Last summer we nearly killed ourselves jumping from the boat onto the dock. We missed. The first year we had the boat we damn near killed Oldest Daughter tubing. Then there was this little incident, courtesy of our dingbat sister:

You know, we said, the Marines used to have something called an AmTrac, that would come right out of the water.

We do a lot of Jewey stuff on Gab. There's a thriving pro-Israel community there. From time to time the Supporters of Israel group draws Nazi performance artists. Whenever they try to get at us we reply, 'Sounds like you're not happy with your mom's new Israeli boyfriend.' 

On to Will's good idea for the week of 7/11/21. We're gonna bore ahead and write The Weser's Confederate Scenes even though the British scenes come first. Honestly, we have no idea how we're doing the Brits. 

As things stand now, the 8th Mech Division's chapter has a mix of divisional, brigade, and battalion level scenes. Reader(s) are probably thinking, 'So just do that with the Limeys, mate.' You people think you want that, but you don't. Remember how brilliant Polish Storm was? Of course you do. Polish Storm had the Cannucks and Habs at the battalion level, the Brits at the battalion and brigade level and the Yanks at the division and corps level; lot's of Franks going back and forth with his division commanders and Norm. You think you want more battalion level stuff for the Brits, but you don't. It will wear you down. Trust us. We are very good at what we do.

For that matter we still don't have the ad-hoc corps commander. We think it'll just be General Inge's number two from NORTHAG. We'll make him up, allows us some leeway. Either that or Maddox over at 8th MD can do double duty. Or his second can take 8th MD and he can be ad-hoc corps commander.

Anywho...we're feeling pumped, primed and optimistic for the week.
